What we collect, and what waits for your permission

Every page view is counted by Vercel Web Analytics. It sets no cookies. A visitor is a hash made from the request that resets every day, so the same person cannot be followed across days or across other websites, and we only ever see totals.

The cookie banner asks once. Until it is answered, and if the answer is no, neither of these runs and neither writes a cookie.

Microsoft Clarity records how pages are used: scrolling, clicks, and where people stop reading. What you type into a form is masked and never recorded. It runs on these public pages only, never in the client portal and never on a personal report page, and it is switched off entirely for anyone signed in. Microsoft processes and keeps that data under its own privacy statement.

The OpenAI Ads pixel tells us which ads bring people here, using two cookies of its own. If you fill in a form after arriving from an ad, we report that conversion with your email address hashed, never the address itself. Decline, and no conversion is reported at all.

You can change your answer at any time: Cookie settings.

The scorecard, the Escape Plan and the contact form collect what you type: your name, email, company where you give one, and your answers. We store it in our own database, send you the result by email, and use it to prepare for a conversation. The scorecard and Escape Plan results live at an unlisted link, which is kept out of search engines and is only useful to whoever holds it.

Two of those written answers are read by Anthropic's Claude to write the personal part of your scorecard report. Booking a call goes through Calendly, and our email goes out through Resend, each under their own terms.

We keep what you send until you ask us to delete it. Email Contact@thesystemseffect.com and we will remove it.

Needed: a sign-in cookie, only for clients and staff using the portal. Your cookie answer is remembered in your browser rather than in a cookie.

Optional, after you accept: Microsoft Clarity, so a recording can follow one visit across several pages, and the OpenAI Ads pixel, so an ad click can be matched to what happened afterwards.

The companies that run this for us, and nobody else: Vercel hosts the site, Supabase stores the data, Microsoft runs Clarity, OpenAI measures the ads, Calendly books the calls, Resend sends the email, and Anthropic reads the two written scorecard answers. We do not sell anything we collect.

This site is for business owners. It is not directed at children.

When this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. If you have a question about any of it, write to us and a person will answer.
